Also three letters from Ione's two sisters, Dot and Maurine. Family letters detail activities and glimpses of the financial and emotional support of a child in college away from home. Collection also contains fifteen love letters written in 1927 from Jimmie, a suitor at a university in St. Louis, Missouri, and a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Jimmie's letters detail activities at the university and the fraternity, as well as his devotion and visits to Ione. Also two letters from Billy, another suitor from Nashville, Arkansas, in 1927.
